We don’t just dream about the beach…we bring a piece of it to Cincinnati.
By the Sea Salt Therapy started out as an idea while we were relaxing on the beach in Florida. We noticed that inhaling deeply of the salt air helped us breathe easier and feel healthier. After doing some research on halotherapy over the next few months, we thought, “Why not bring the refreshing salt air home to Cincinnati with us?”

We never dreamed how our beach visit to Florida would change our lives. We decided to combine our love of the ocean with a service that would benefit others. After all, if it helped us this much, why should we keep the secret to ourselves? We bought a halogenerator and opened By the Sea Salt Therapy, conveniently located in Cincinnati’s Westwood Historic Shopping District.
Since opening, we’ve grown to also include a boutique that mimics the Florida beachside shops. You’ll find salt lamps, artisan soaps, lotions, jewelry, essential oils, and other accessories to compliment your beach visit.
